Review: The Ridge

Another one of the bigger college apartment complexes available in Morgantown is The Ridge.  Again, like The District and some of the other apartments we have looked at, The Ridge is kind of out of the way from campus.  If you want a two-five minute walk to class, then this isn’t the complex for you.  But, if you would like to kind of get away and still have a college atmosphere, The Ridge is a good option.

There are three different options when it comes rooms and rates.  The first option is four bedrooms and two bathrooms.  Prices per month range from $339-379 per person.  Included are full size washers and dryers as well as a full size kitchen.  Also, utilities included are cable, internet, water and trash.

Option number two is four bedrooms and four bathrooms deluxe.  The only main difference between this and the first option is it’s bigger. Prices per person range from $359-399 per month.

Finally, option number three is three bedrooms and three bathrooms.  Prices here go at $429 per month.  Obviously, the key advantage to this option is that each roommate gets his or her own bathroom.

So, The Ridge certainly offers a good college environment and is good if you want to get away from downtown.  The prices aren’t too bad either.  Still, there’s not an option to live with just one other person or yourself.  The rooms are not overwhelmingly big, but certainly not small either.  Overall, The Ridge is an adequate, slightly more affordable college living option.
